You’re Part of the Team

I walked into Best Fitness about a year and a half ago extremely overweight and out of shape. I figured I would spend some time on the treadmill and try a few of the machines I was already familiar with. Fortunately for me, Best Fitness has an excellent personal training program and Craig, the manager I spoke to was determined to get me out of my formerly unsuccessful gym rut and on the right path to make progress.

I had the good fortune to be paired up with Brendan; he’s an amazing person and a truly dedicated trainer. Since I’m new to strength training, he pays close attention to my form to make sure I don’t get injured and at the same time pushes me to achieve new levels. I’ve been surprised at times at how much I’ve been able to accomplish with his encouragement. He constantly challenges me and makes every workout different and interesting. He’s always cheerful and willing to discuss my goals and as they change over time, he’s right there with the information I need to continue to make progress.

Brendan is also really knowledgeable about nutrition and has helped me lose over 70 lbs. There are so many tempting fad diets but Brendan is the real deal and has educated me on making the right food choices for my body so I can achieve my goals of losing weight while continuing to gain strength. I can’t say enough about how helpful he has been, it’s been an amazing journey losing so much weight and gaining such a great friend in the process!

Best Fitness has an outstanding environment created by the positive attitude of all the trainers. If you’re new to the gym experience, it can be intimidating but the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and make you feel welcome. I’ve seen every kind of person in this gym — young, old, in shape, overweight, body builders, you name it — but once you step through the doors, you’re part of their team and they’ll do everything they can to help you succeed.
