I am a group fitness instructor at BEST Fitness, avid runner and exerciser who was looking to change up my routine, build more muscle and get faster when I first started working with my personal trainer Ryan Taylor almost 3 years ago. At the time I was having a lot of pain in my legs during and after runs. Ryan worked with me to strengthen my leg muscles with focused exercises that has eliminated my leg/hamstring pain and has also helped me get faster. Since working with Ryan I have been able to get a personal records in my 5K, Boilermaker 15K, and half marathon times.
In addition to the gains in my lower body I have also increased my upper body strength and built more definition. I have gotten many compliments from friends and other instructors on my upper body tone. I have been teaching Body Pump for over 5 years and I am finally able to bust through weight plateaus and am able to increase the weight I can use in my classes !!!
I look forward to my training sessions with Ryan each week. He is encouraging and pushes me in a way I wouldn’t push myself and am grateful to have the BEST personal trainer at the BEST gym.
