I would like to express how pleased I am with my Personal Trainer – Nancy Marchand. To date, I have lost over 80 pounds with NO surgery! It has been a lot of hard work, motivation and dedication to get me where I am today. Nancy’s awesome workouts and continual motivation allows me to stay focused, keeping my eyes on the prize! Everyone always asks me how I lost the weight and how I continue to keep it off. My answer is always the same – go the gym, get yourself a personal trainer that works for you, keeps you motivated and of course, manage your nutrition. I am so happy that I have found someone that does that for me.

I attended a silent auction and I won the bid for the Best Fitness personal training package. While attending a cycling class, I spoke with Nancy and she said she would be happy to be my trainer for those sessions. After my first visit, I was hooked! I finished my single session visits and immediately signed up for more sessions. I decided to join a group that Nancy had been working with.

Nancy is great at providing challenging and new workouts during each session. Although there can be four of us training at once; Nancy always provides each of us individual feedback and positive reinforcement. She is great at motivating all of us, allowing us to work out at our full potential, yet understanding any physical limitations/injuries that we may be experiencing. Nancy always verifies that we are performing each exercise using proper technique. Nancy is always at our sessions on time and prepared with what we are going to accomplish. It is such a relief to know that someone is that interested and invested in my overall health and well-being.

I decided that one day a week was not enough for me, so I signed up for another day. I look forward every week to my workouts with Nancy. She keeps me focused and challenged. It is such an awesome feeling when you look in the mirror or need to buy smaller clothes and see and feel the changes that are the direct effect of personal training that I am getting from Nancy. I am very appreciative of my success and of all the compliments that I receive on my new “shapely” figure.

I did not measure myself from the beginning of my journey, but at one point Nancy did do some measurements for me. In 8 weeks I lost 5% body fat, and decreased my BMI by 2%. I am two-thirds of the way to my goal weight, and I know that with Nancy on my team, I will reach my goal in no time.
