ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO I WENT FOR MY PHYSICAL. I WAS CONSIDERED OBESE AND MY CHOLESTEROL WAS 216, WHICH WAS TOO HIGH. MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED I MODIFY MY DIET TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT. IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO DO SOMETHING. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE HAD MEMBERSHIPS HERE FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS BUT WE WERE NOT USING THEM.

WALKING THROUGH THE DOOR AGAIN WAS THE HARDEST THING I HAD DONE IN A LONG TIME. I LOOKED FAT; I FELT BAD AND DID NOT THINK I COULD START WORKING OUT. THE FIRST THING I DID WAS THE TREADMILL, ONLY 15 MINUTES BUT IT WAS A START. I KEPT IT UP, INCREASING MY TIME, AND THEN TENTATIVELY STARTED SOME OF THE MACHINES. THE WEIGHT STARTED TO DROP AND I WAS FEELING BETTER.

I STARTED WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER LAST JUNE. ASHLEY HAD BEEN AN AMAZING HELP TO ME AND MY WORKOUT ROUTINE. SHE STARTED ME SLOWLY BUT CHALLENGED ME AT THE SAME TIME.

NOT ONLY DOES SHE PERSONALIZE MY WORKOUT, BUT ALSO SHE LISTENS TO MY ISSUES AND TAILORS MY EXERCISES TO FIT MY PERSONALITY. ASHLEY CONTINUALLY ENCOURAGES ME EVEN IF I DO NOT HAVE A SESSION WITH HER. ALL OF THE PERSONAL TRAINERS AND EMPLOYEES HERE ARE SO FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE; YOU CANNOT HELP BUT GET IN SHAPE.

As of now I have lost 46 pounds, my cholesterol is down to 118 and my body fat percentage has gone from 35.8 to 28.0%.
