MASSACHUSETTS CLUBS UPDATE:

We’re excited to announce our Massachusetts clubs will be able to reopen Monday, July 6th. For more details about our reopening plans, please click HERE.

All membership and personal training billing will be suspended until we reopen. Any personal training sessions will have an extended time to be used from when we resume normal operations. If you were billed Tuesday, 3/24, this will be reversed and should show on your account within 7-10 business days. If you were billed prior to 3/24, your dues will be pro-rated on your account to make up for any time you may have lost due to our closure to ensure you aren’t billed for a service you cannot use.

To help you stay active, we’re giving you free online content via our new virtual coaching app for workouts you can do in the comfort of your own home. We urge members to take advantage of these free offerings as exercise is beneficial to your physical, mental and emotional health. These can be found at www.bestfitnesscoachingapp.com/new-app

As we get more information, we will be sending our members updates via email and social media. Please follow us if you’d like to receive updates. During this time, we appreciate your patience as we are experiencing high levels of inquiries while decreasing our staffing for employee safety.

NEW HAMPSHIRE CLUB UPDATE:

In the state of New Hampshire, gyms are able to reopen Monday, June 15th. For information regarding reopening please CLICK HERE.  
 
If you were billed prior to 3/27, your dues will be pro-rated on your account to make up for any time you may have lost due to our closure to ensure you aren’t billed for a service you cannot use.
 

Personal training payments will also be suspended during this time for free. Any personal training sessions will have an extended time period to be used from when we resume normal operations. All kids clubs will be suspended until further notice.

NEW YORK CLUBS UPDATE:

In the state of New York, all gyms have been pushed until after “Phase 4”. The state has not released any tentative dates, so we do not know when a reopen date will be possible.

Since we do not know on what date we will reopen, we will be suspending all monthly membership dues until we reopen. Any membership billed today, 3/16/20 will be reversed to members’ accounts within 7-10 business days. Personal training payments will also be suspended during this time as well. A notice to our members regarding the clubs and COVID-19:

Our teams are working diligently to keep the clubs clean and help prevent the spread of illnesses, and we want to keep everyone in the loop of what Best Fitness and Bfitt:60 are doing to keep our members and employees safe! The detailed steps we are taking can be found in the email we sent out to all members last week along with steps our members and guests can take to keep themselves healthy while helping keep others healthy. That information can be found here.

Your peace of mind is our top priority and we plan on keeping the clubs and studios open while maintaining a normal class and Kids Club schedule. That being the case, we are also making sure our employees do not come into the clubs if they are feeling ill, so it is always best practice to check your mobile apps for the most up-to-date class schedule. If you or your children are feeling ill, please be respectful of your fellow gym-goers and our teams inside the clubs and please stay home. Exercise is an effective way to battle off illnesses and keep your immune system strong, but it is important to rest when you are ill to help your body recover and avoid possibly infecting anyone else.

As always, remember to wash your hands and clean your equipment after use. Getting enough rest, exercising and proper nutrition and hygiene are the best ways to help your immune system stay in tip-top shape to keep you healthy.

We will update this page as frequently as possible with important information we need to communicate with our members.

What we’re doing:

  • All chemicals used to clean and sanitize the club and equipment are hospital-grade and designed to be easy on the environment and allergies while being extremely effective at fighting bacteria and viruses.
  • Our locker rooms, showers, toilets, sinks, countertops and steam rooms/saunas are fully cleaned with these hospital-grade chemicals on a twice-daily basis.
  • The club floors and inside each studio are cleaned daily with professional floor scrubbers. The floors underneath all machines and equipment are cleaned this way weekly, at minimum.
  • Stretching mats are disinfected on a twice-daily basis.
  • Cardio and weight equipment are cleaned each hour at a minimum.
  • Hand sanitizer can be found throughout the clubs in numerous places.
  • Sanitizing spray can be found in each studio, throughout the weight floor and cardio deck and extras are located behind the front desk and with the maintenance team.

How you can help:

  • Remember to always wipe down your equipment after you’re done using it. Spray bottles and paper towels are located throughout the club for your convenience.
  • Always wash your hands with soap and warm water after going to the bathroom, coughing, sneezing, etc. Although we provide hand sanitizer, it is always a good idea to use soap and water when available.
  • While we want to see you in the club, please do not visit the club if you are sick or feel like you are becoming sick. We’re sure you don’t want to possibly infect your fellow gym-goers!
